ANALYSIS & QUALIFIED REVIEW

A conclusion needs a visible path back to the evidence

An assessment records what an analyst concludes from the information available. It is a separate, attributed record rather than a replacement for the original reports. ArmorX’s retained workflow makes room for the conclusion, the reasoning and the limitations so that another qualified person can review how the analyst reached that position.

This explains the information model. Cross-product connections and live feeds have separate deployment requirements.

Distinguish observation from interpretation

A source may report a location or describe what someone observed. An analyst then considers how that information fits with the other records. Keeping those steps distinct makes the record more useful to the next reviewer. A later interpretation should not silently rewrite the original report or erase a stated uncertainty.

Confidence requires supporting information

The retained maritime assessment workflow has specific corroboration rules for a confirmed assessment, including independent source groups and information beyond AIS alone. Those rules address the source model implemented in that foundation. They should not be presented as a universal certification, an automated determination of truth or a guarantee that every possible incident can be resolved.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW

An assessment can remain open for a good reason

Suppose two reports agree on a position but originate from the same provider, while a separate observation has a wide uncertainty range. The analyst may be able to describe the pattern without supporting a confirmed conclusion. Recording that limit is part of useful analysis. It tells the next reviewer what additional information would matter. This hypothetical example illustrates reasoning and does not represent an automated ArmorX finding.

Example for explanation · not a live incident or customer case

State what remains unresolved

A report can be incomplete, delayed or dependent on another source. A useful assessment explains those limitations alongside the information it supports. Describe the time period, uncertainty and alternative explanations relevant to the review. A strong-looking status label is less useful than clear reasoning that another authorized reviewer can examine.

Keep professional responsibility with the reviewer

The public product website explains the workflow. It does not provide a professional opinion on a submitted event or establish that a Tactical review has started. The current public Tactical application reports ArmorX review as not connected. Any future handoff needs a verified technical connection, an authorized recipient and an agreed professional scope.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY · AUTHORIZED PILOT

A clear scope for the actual deployment.

ArmorX is private-sector operations software. The retained foundation uses manually supplied information. Live feeds, expanded media/forensic integrations and connected XShield/Tactical handoffs require further implementation and verification. Public site access does not grant workspace permissions.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

ArmorX · Assessments
Explained.

Practical scope, access and next steps.

Does an assessment change the original evidence?

The retained workflow treats the assessment as a separately attributed conclusion. Original reports and observations remain distinct from the analyst’s interpretation.

Does a confirmed label prove an event?

A label must be understood with its implemented corroboration rules, source context and stated limitations. It is not a universal assurance or substitute for appropriate professional review.

Does AI decide the operational outcome?

This website does not establish an activated autonomous decision-making service. Qualified people remain responsible for the purpose, interpretation and use of an assessment.

Is Tactical review already connected?

The public Tactical application currently reports ArmorX review as not connected. Integration and authorized operational delivery require separate verification.
